Back into gear (confessions + more...)

Okay, first of all I'm going to correct any incorrect thoughts any of you may have had about me. I know I may have screwed up my first impressions with some of you, but fuck it. What's to stop me from trying, right? Anyway...

To start off, I'm not a girl. I'm a guy, I turn 23 in November, I have a steady and loving girlfriend, and I'm loving life and her. Don't get me wrong, I'm not an asshole, and the last thing I want to do is brag about what I have. I'm a nice guy and as a nice guy I wish you the best as well in your own life and with your art, but that's beside the point of this journal entry.

The point of this journal entry is to re-introduce myself. To do that I must first apologize to those that I've pissed off heavily. So here it is...

I apologize!

So having said that, I hope that you can forgive me and move on to enjoying me, my art, my personality, and just everything that has anything remotely to do with ME (Saul). Now that I've gotten that 10oz. flop of turd off my chest, I'll begin by introducing myself (finally).

My name is Saul. The good peeps down at Gamepumpkin.net (which I suggest you join because of the newly added image upload gallery) and Gamepumpkin Forums may know me as Commander_X. I have been drawing since I was a baby (true story) and It's the only thing I know how to do without much effort, so here I am. I explained that I wasn't actually a douche earlier. I may have thrown a few rants about what the difference is between porn and art, but hey I was just having a bit of fun with you all, mates (not from the U.K. sorry guys and gals). Who doesn't enjoy a good closeup shot of a cunt and a pair of tits while she poses in a highly suggestive manner. I know I don't (unless it's my girlfriend's) ... (okay I lied, I love cunt and tits on any hot girl of legal age).

Which brings me to my next point. I'm not really an asshole, and if you would like to get to know me, don't be shy. I don't bite. I'm actually a nice guy that is more than happy to help you all become better artists. Maybe even a better artist than me. Who knows? Nobody, that's who.

Oh, a major note I wanted to make...

I wanted to THANK each and every one of you who have added me to their watch list. Thank you from the bottom of my foot, to the deepest part of your anus. Thank you so much for your support. I will try my hardest to entertain and dazzle you with my highly inconsistent and broadly styled art.

You have talent lady. I like your work a lot. You also have a lot of gall. It's a little kindergarten to talk trash about artists (or art) on here, especially genuinely talented artists. I don't think anyone worth their salt will be heart broken if you don't like their work, but at least try to give a genuine critique or two. Don't be that terribly cliched, angst ridden teenager trapped in an adult's body. I give your work all the respect in the world, but do yourself a favor and ditch the attitude. And it sucks that you can't find a job in your field, I know how it feels, I've been there. Keep plugging, you'll get there.

A 21 year old female believes that life is no longer worth living because she can't get a professional career in art? Times are tough, and not everyone gets their dreams, and sometimes, everything just seems to suck. Believe it or not, there are people inspired by your work, even if you don't believe it is getting progressively better. You don't have to continue doing art... Its just a hobby for most people. Obviously though, it meant a lot to you. There was a time of mine which was difficult for me too, and it seemed as if there was nobody there who cared, and that I had no real purpose or talent. Well guess what? I was probably right. So I worked hard, and I'm happy. Nobody knows what the future holds, but artwork is a good way to express any anger, fear, sadness, or whatever it is you wish to relieve yourself of, though it is not the only way. It'd be a waste...

Eh. I've been in a sort of "Game Design" mood lately. I've been spitting out characters after characters for over 4-5 years now but I'm still too hesitant to try anything abstract and completely "my own".

By the way... I'm sorta kinda working on a game project right now. XP Which as of now is TOP SECRET. If it gets popular enough I miiiight just post it here. XD If you're lucky enough, you'll get to play it.
